The Team Approach! To achieve the results you desire out of your
GrowinGreen service several things must happen.
1: You must make a commitment to
achieve these results by being on a regular program.
Remember your lawn did not get in bad shape overnight. Your lawn
is full of weed seeds and will take time to recover. Our Program
works best over a several year process. While you will begin to
see results after your first treatment it will take years to build
nutrient pools up the soil to sustain long term growth. While
we do not require contracts we do ask that you give us at least
a year to turn your lawn around.
2: Weather plays a vital role in
our results.
Too much rain or not enough rain can make for a bad year in the
lawn. We will adjust our program to meet the needs of each client
based on the current weather conditions. You will need to supplement
watering in times of extreme drought to keep the turf actively
growing.
3: Communication is key!
We will visit your Lawn every 6 weeks based on the weather. You
are out there every day. We rely on you to let us know when things
aren’t quite working the way they should. We offer free
service calls but we can’t fix what we don’t know
is broken. We will provide you with vital information through
our quarterly newsletter, web site, and turf tips left with your
treatment, but it is up to you to call and say "hey I’ve
still got weeds" or "I’m not sure what is wrong
but it just doesn’t look right." We are always available
to meet with you at no charge to discuss any question you may
have.
4: Cultural Practices
We will provide you with watering and mowing tips each time we
treat your lawn. These will change based on the current weather.
It is crucial to follow our recommendations in order to achieve
the results you desire. We can treat the lawn to the best of our
ability, but if you mow it to short our weed control results will
be lessened by 30%. We also highly recommend aeration and over
seeding once a year to help replace grass that has died from the
summer heat, etc.
