Celebrate-National-Small-Business-Week

The Piedmont Triad is loaded with terrific small businesses who provide a variety of products and services with a passion and pride that you cannot find at the big box store or the national franchises. Now is the perfect time to give them a try – as we celebrate National Small Business Week.

Local small business owners wear many hats – from sales, marketing and merchandising to manufacturing, purchasing and inventory control to business law, accounting and payroll to trainer, toilet cleaner and sidewalk sweeper. They do it all and it shows in their customer service – that genuine desire to please their patrons. These business owners go the extra mile. They want to do a great job so, you will happily return again and tell your friends.

Buying from local business stimulates our economy. It keeps local dollars local and working for everyone in our community. For example, the local taxes collected support our local schools, parks, roads, fire departments, police and city services. For every $100 spent at a small business, it’s estimated that $45 stays in our community.

Today, small business is the lifeblood of our economy. Collectively, small businesses account for more than 56-million workers and create two out of every three new jobs.

At GrowinGreen, we’re proud to be a local family-owned small business. As such, we believe in supporting other small businesses in the Piedmont Triad when we need services and products.

We hope you will join us this week in celebrating National Small Business Week. We encourage you to get out and support the small businesses in your community this week, and every week.
